Can I adjust myself?
Chiropractors must earn a total of 4,200 hours of combined academic, laboratory and clinical experience before receiving their certification. Through this experience a deep understanding of Kineseology is obtained which informs the care they implement. Self adjustment can have dangerous results due to the persons inexperience with the science and proper delivery of Chiropractic care.
What does an adjustment feel like?
An adjustment usually involves the manipulation of your spine in a non-invasive and gentle manner. The crack that results from an adjustment is the result of gas bubbles being released from the movement of your joints. Little to no discomfort occurs with the only slight soreness being experienced.
Can practice members with osteoporosis get chiropractic care?
Osteoporosis is a degenerative condition most commonly experienced by older men and women. By evaluating your bone density and overall structural health, our chiropractors can determine if chiropractic care will be effective in treating your condition.
Isn’t some back pain normal?

Will my neck be snapped?
Cervical manipulation is the safe adjustment of a person’s neck to correct a subluxation (misalignment). To date, not a single neck has been ‘snapped’ due to cervical manipulation.
Will I have to go for the rest of my life?
Retraining muscles and ligaments that support the spine takes time. Many folks choose to continue their chiropractic care on some type of periodic basis while others choose to see us from time to time. It’s your choice.
