What to Expect After You Book Your Appointment
After you have booked your appointment, you will see the following steps.
Step 1: Online Forms
Before your visit, you will receive a link to complete your forms online. This allows us to gather your information ahead of time so our staff can be prepared for your arrival and help your visit go as smoothly as possible.
Step 2: Your First Visit
Your first visit is focused on understanding your health concerns, evaluating your condition, and preparing the right treatment plan for you.
Check-In
When you arrive, you will check in at the front desk. At that time, our team will let you know if anything else is needed beyond the online forms you have already completed. We may also ask for your insurance card and ID to help complete the check-in process.
Consultation with the Doctor
After check-in, you will meet with the doctor for a consultation. This is your time to talk about what you are experiencing, share your health concerns, and discuss what brought you into the office.
Examination
The next step is an examination. The doctor will perform an examination to better understand your condition and identify what may be contributing to your symptoms.
Diagnostic X-Rays, If Needed
If diagnostic X-rays are needed, they will be taken during your visit. This helps the doctor gather more information when necessary and better understand the underlying issue.
Doctor Review and Findings
After your consultation, examination, and any needed X-rays, the doctor will review your findings. This includes your examination results, health history, X-rays, and online forms in order to prepare a treatment plan tailored to your needs. Depending on the complexity of your case, the doctor may ask you to come back the following day to fully review all the information and prepare your treatment plan.
Treatment Plan Discussion
Once everything has been reviewed, the doctor will discuss your treatment plan with you. This conversation is designed to help you understand what was found, what the recommended next steps are, and how your care will move forward.
Financial Consultation
Before treatment begins, you will complete a financial consultation with our financial coordinator. This helps you understand the financial side of care and what to expect moving forward.
Beginning Care
If you approve the treatment plan, we will begin the next step of your care. Depending on your treatment plan, this may include therapeutic adjustments, laser therapy, spinal decompression, or therapeutic exercises.
Step 3: Your Second Visit
Your second visit is typically where care continues based on the treatment plan that was discussed with you. By this point, you will have a clearer understanding of your recommendations, and your care will continue according to your individual needs and goals.
This visit is an important part of building momentum in your recovery and making sure your care starts in the right direction.
Step 4: Re-Examination and Progress Check
As care continues, we will schedule a re-examination to see how you are progressing. This midpoint check-in helps us evaluate your improvement, review how your body is responding to treatment, and make any adjustments if needed.
Step 5: Follow-Up Visits as Needed
After your initial phase of care, follow-up visits may be recommended as needed to help prevent regression and support your long-term progress. The goal is not only to help you feel better, but also to help you continue moving in the right direction.
